Specialized Agency Training Programs

The agency offers multiple specialized programs to assist with the professional growth and development of new and seasoned employees.  Continuous efforts are made to expand the programs offered and to develop new programs as needed to meet the training needs of all job classifications within the agency.  Training needs assessments assist in directing the development of such programs and teams are utilized to develop program content as well as assist with delivery. All programs must be approved by the Executive Leadership Team prior to team development and implementation.

Current Specialized Programs:

• Academy of Leadership Exploration and Preparedness (ALEAP) - A leadership succession training program.
• Counselor Mentoring Program - Designed to assist new rehabilitation counselors in successfully orienting to their position.
• Job Placement Program - An orientation program for new job placement specialists.
• Manager Training - Professional development opportunities for the managers within the agency.
• Supported Employment and Community Rehabilitation Programs - information on training and resources.
