Required Training Through Other Agencies
There are several state agencies that have developed online training initiatives to support the development of employees of the Commonwealth. Utilizing these resources provides new employees with pertinent work related training information in a more timely manner.
Alert: Currently the mandatory new employee orientation programs offered through the Government Services Center through Kentucky Train are not available due to technical difficulties. We will resume offering these courses on the online catalog as soon as the issue has been resolved.

The following online courses are offered through the Governmental Services Center (GSC) using Train Kentucky.
- Anti-Harassment
- American with Disabilities Act
- Family Medical Leave Act
- State Government Ethics
New Employees will be registered for these courses by the training liaison and will receive an email notification containing codes necessary to access the program. These courses are offered through Train Kentucky which requires registration by all users. Instructions for registering to use Train Kentucky website will be provided in the email confirmation.
Note: Your registration for these courses can only take place when the Governmental Services Center has made the employee information available to the training liaison. This is done through an uploading of information for the Personnel Cabinet and may not be available until a month or so after the employee begins work.
