Online CRC Continuing Education Resources
Online training initiatives are becoming more popular and not just because it is an efficient method of delivering information. Often this training is self-paced allowing employees to move in and out of the program as their schedules allow. Participants do not have to travel to a specific location to receive the online training and the agency can provide training in a more timely manner.

All Kentucky Office of Vocational Rehabilitation online training programs are hosted through Kentucky Virtual Campus. These programs can be accessed through the KYVC link on this website.
The online training programs created by the agency are KY OVR employees only. Enrollments are instructor approved and participants will receive an email message when the enrollment has been validated.
Review the agency course catalog page for additional details. The majority of internal online courses offer CRC credits.

External Online Training Programs |

The agency continually seeks opportunities for online training programs that will benefit the employees of the agency. This training information is valuable for the content and in most cases it provides an opportunity for credit toward maintenance of required certifications. The costs for these programs are paid through the HRD budget and since there are no travel expenses the district does not have an applied cost for travel. Take time to review the following information and use the links provided to visit the sites for additional information.
University of Wisconsin Stout - Courses through UWS may be paid for with a procard. Please contact the HRD Program Administrator for the appropriate template to assure that costs for the training are accurately applied. CRC credits are available on all courses. Ethics courses for CRC are offered at least two times per year.
Home Study - American Schools Association - This is a link to a list of available Home Study opportunities that are pre-approved for multiple professional certifications. CRC credits are available on many courses.
AAACEUS - This site offers the ability to pay for courses individually or register for use of the site for one year. Participants may download the newsletter or information along with a test that may be taken as open book. The test information is then entered online and if it meets the required score the individual will be mailed the certificate. There are many of these courses that are pre-approved for CRC including several with ethics hours.
