OVR Online Training Initiatives

The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation is working to develop and refine online training programs for employees.  Online training programs for the agency are developed using the system provided by Kentucky Virtual Campus (KYVC). 

Kentucky Office of Vocational Rehabilitation  employees may access the catalog of programs offered and request admission into courses.  The course request is reviewed by the HRD Program Administrator and the employee is then enrolled in the course.  Supervisor pre-approval is required to enroll in an online course unless it is a mandatory program as a part of new employee orientation or specific job responsibilities.  Once the employee is enrolled in the course an email notification will confirm the enrollment, start date and any additional information necessary to fully participate in the online program. 

Currently the mandatory new employee orientation programs offered through the Government Services Center through Kentucky Train are not available due to technical difficulties.  We will resume offering these courses on the online catalog as soon as the issue has been resolved.
